Senior Sales Executive – Large Scale Event
Up to £40,000 + OTE + Benefits
London – Hybrid (2 days)
My client connects global industry communities through unmissable events, online networking platforms, and hyper-productive meeting programmes, now looking to hire on one of their major events for a talented & high achieving sales professional.
The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for driving new business and outreach to new growth areas/markets for specific sectors within our shows. You will be selling across their full sourcing event portfolio and to a range of geographies and market sectors.
Key responsibilities
- New Business Development: The role will require the hunger to drive new business and identify / approach / convert sales from defined countries and regions
- Grow international new business revenue through self-sourcing leads and responding to inbound enquiries in a timely manner.
- Successfully achieve sales / revenue targets and performance objectives
- Be knowledgeable about the market, customers, competitors, and products to sell solutions to customers effectively.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and lead generation.
- Self-source leads by networking at industry conferences and meetings, events, and competitor shows, or through online research.
- Deliver Market Plans: Ability to map the opportunities within a region and be able to work with multiple stakeholders to deliver them.
Skills Required
- Resilience and hunger to close new business sales with a min. 3-year sales experience, ideally within the events / conferences sector
- Track record of regularly hitting sales performance & daily activity KPI’s
- Proven track record of selling to bellwether clients at a senior level, experience of working with an international client base is preferable.
- Ability to work in a high performing, fast paced matrix environment.
- Ability to identify new sales opportunities within your patch, while developing & executing a plan to maximise their potential
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively work with multiple internal and external stakeholders
