Senior Marketing Manager – Tech Events
Up to £55,000 + Bonuses

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Senior Marketing Manager to really take ownership of the role and hone their skills to progress quickly through the company. The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for designing and delivering marketing campaigns for delegates, visitors, sponsors, and speakers, both online and offline. Using the full marketing mix to reach the right audience and use engaging content to ensure customer growth and ROI for clients is essential for success. Ensure campaigns reach, entertain, engage, and persuade the right target companies, decision makers and audiences.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Marketing Manager:
- Lead marketing planning and delivery for our event portfolio (5 events).
- Track the success of events marketing efforts.
- Manage events marketing plans and budgets for your projects, working with colleagues to produce clear event briefs, goals and responsibilities from the outset.
- Create content marketing campaigns for lead generation.
- Work with stakeholders to generate compelling events marketing concepts, messaging and outputs.
- Coordinate the production of events marketing collateral.
- Write compelling copy and be able to edit promotional materials.
- Drive the adoption of new marketing methods and technologies, generating the best possible marketing return and customer experience
- Produce compelling and engaging email marketing plans and execute them.
- Work with project teams to design best-in-class delegate journeys, from making bookings to at-event experience.
- Create solid sponsorship marketing plans to drive leads for the sales team.
- Produce post-event reports capturing key marketing statistics and lessons.
The successful candidate the Senior Marketing Manager role will:
- 5+ years’ experience as Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager from an events business.
- Have experience of managing marketing for a variety of commercial events, in particular larger conferences.
- Have a strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, whilst up to speed with the latest marketing trends and ideas.
- Have experience with CRM and content management systems, marketing automation tools, and social media channels.
- Be commercially-minded, with budget management skills and a focus on delivering positive returns.
- Be social media savvy and knows how to write engaging and captivating content
- Have the ability to support colleagues and appreciate our diversity.
