Event Operations Manager

My client is looking for a Senior Event Operations Manager to join a rapidly expanding & successful team, managing events for C-level executives from Fortune 1000 companies in a variety of industry sectors. Responsible for managing all of the logistics and coordination of virtual and in-person events, this role will also establish relationships with the virtual platforms/venues, vendors, and attendees and make sure that each event runs smoothly.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and influencer with strong organizational skills, analytical and articulate a team player with a professional demeanour and enjoys being part of an enthusiastic, business-oriented and committed team. Must be driven and able to work with a sense of urgency, maintain control of event process and be able to learn quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Budget, sponsor and attendee management for virtual and in-person events.
- Management of suppliers and vendors e.g. virtual event platforms and audio visual companies.
- Co-ordination and management of 1:1 business meetings between sponsors and delegates.
- Execution of virtual events and in-person conferences in various locations across the Americas.
- Assist in the organisation of staff onsite schedules, travel and accommodation, as well as other ad hoc internal duties.
- Attend the majority of your events to ensure the smooth running of events and improve customer service through face-to-face interaction.

Key Requirements
- You will be of graduate calibre.
- You will have at least 3 years’ relevant event or hospitality experience.
- You will be fluent in English and additional languages will be beneficial.
- You will be trustworthy and confident in working remotely and managing the independence associated with it.
- Experience organising and executing Virtual Events is beneficial but not required.
